At Farmhouse Coastal, LLC we love families and friendships, and in our experience, working on projects creates memories. Even better, projects with a friend or family member creates a bond. Hi, I’m Carol, founder and owner of Farmhouse Coastal, LLC.
The name Farmhouse Coastal just seemed to fit as the name of my business for a couple of reasons. Not only does it describe my two favorite home decorating styles, ’Farmhouse’ and ‘Coastal’, but it also describes memories of my childhood.
I was so blessed to be able to experience both the farm and the coast, as part of my everyday life while growing up in northern Florida. As a child I can remember often waking up to the sound of the rooster crowing in the morning…then falling asleep in the afternoon to the sound of the squawking seagulls and the echoing waves, as I lay in the warm sand on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico. I remember often, being on the shore with my hands in the sand making sandcastles, then later in the evening, having hands in the dirt and picking vegetables from our family garden for our dinner.
When I think of the word ‘farmhouse’, I think of warm and welcome memories. As I reflect on the word ‘coastal’, my mind lands on the laid back and comfortable feel that accompanies living near the coast. That is how I would like you to feel here at Farmhouse Coastal.
